This paper discusses heroes and outlaws. I have been steadily struck by how heroes can come into view in every age and situation. The heroes of the epics are often lionized as models for the young. However on account of the fact that it is a characteristic of human courage, we can expect new heroes to arise in view of everyday life offers many choices to be a coward or a hero. Since it takes character to be a hero, some respond better than may be anticipated and can be hailed as heroes.
