Online Chatting and the Dangers of Sexual Predators
This paper examines the complex and increasingly problematic issue of pedophiles employing Internet technology and chat rooms in order to solicit sex or pornographic material from minors. This paper will first examine briefly the history and development of chat rooms before addressing how the authorities are combating online pedophilia, what more can be done, and how parents can become involved.
