This paper will seek to understand why good ethics will increase legal long-term profits for a business. By understanding the philosophical premise of Plato's "Greater Good", we can achieve the objective of teaching real talent and innovation over a period of time to create a disinterest in fraud and cheap deals. By realizing the grave penalty of poor ethics in business we can see how such business people, such as Martha Stewart, pay the price for their illegal actions.
