This paper provides a brief industry analysis of the company, Beverly Healthcare, Inc. This company went through a negative period from the 1970s through the 1990s, in which the company demonstrated a lack of compassion for its patients and a lack of concern for its stakeholders. Beverly reduced the care given for the patients and acquired funding from federal health care sources, and also provided erroneous financial data to its investors.
In 2000, Beverly was restructured with a new corporate philosophy. The current philosophy is to promote the welfare of the patients, work with researchers and organizations to develop new technologies, and provide open accountability to investors through financial and litigation data.
