This paper briefly identifies the character traits of Charlie in the film "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory." Charlie is a person who shows free will and imagination despite an upbringing which is not conducive to these traits. He was therefore able to apply reasoning to the situations in the Chocolate Factory which demonstrated his personal character and ethics.
