Report Proposal: The Effects of Erosion on the Louisiana Coast
This proposal is for a paper that will examine the effects of erosion on the Louisiana coastal wetlands. This paper provides the foundation for a larger work that will focus on the effect of manmade influences on the wetlands and on the erosion of Louisiana's barrier islands. Ultimately, it will examine the effects that these events will have on coastal fisheries and relate these effects to other similar ecosystems in other regions.
