This paper encompasses a discussion of FTAA. More specifically the discussion focuses on the thesis that the FTAA and the passing of this policy will possibly eliminate the middle class of America. The FTAA is explained and further details of the effects of FTAA will be discussed. In addition the effects of this policy on the middle class will be examined.
