This paper is in the form of an intra-office legal memorandum. It explores the issue of whether a client could succeed on a claim for breach of contract and seek specific performance to enforce said contract. This paper also looks at whether the statute of frauds could be used as a successful defense to this claim. Ultimately, it appears that the client would not be successful in her claim.
