This paper disucsses the interrelationship between the church and society as reflected in the architecture of the church, noting how modes of construction and design reflect certain social meaning and give form to the devotion of the members at the same time, and this idea is traced through church history and through the diffrent forms of Christian architecture and related to all religious architecture.
